Structure: Group/cohort

Curriculum: Paced and guided

  • Session 1: Welcome + goals + creating & strengthening good habits

  • Session 2: Planning system + weekly routine

  • Session 3: Workload management + study workflow + task initiation & follow through

  • Session 4: What being "ready" for college really means 

  • Session 5: Independence plan + campus readiness + self-advocacy practice

Our facilitators have taught First-Year Experience (FYE/Univ 100) courses nationwide and distilled the essential skills you need before you arrive on campus.

Pre-College
Coaching

Structure: One-on-one support

Plan: Personalized systems + accommodations/self-advocacy support when needed

College Success Coaches focus on teaching students the fundamentals of college,  such as becoming more independent, reading a syllabus, getting organized, planning and prioritizing academics, utilizing campus resources, and so much more. 

 

Students who receive services from a Disability Resource Center will learn to request and use accommodations and self-advocate with confidence.
