The International Labour Organization (ILO), began to observe this day in 2003 to spread awareness on the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases at work around the world. This year the International Labour Organization is focusing the World Day for Safety and Health at Work on enhancing social dialogue towards a culture of safety and health. They will be hosting a virtual discussion to commemorate the day and discuss health and safety work with government leaders, workers, and employers.

Employee Health and Safety Motivated Our Business

Our company was founded in 2020 with a mission to help businesses reopen safely. Two of the Co-Founders, Jikku Venkat and Tarun Nimmagadda, were inspired by their work at the not for profit CoronaTrace and wanted to help alleviate the stress on companies who needed to protect 100s and 1000s of employees from COVID-19.

“At the onset of the pandemic we saw that essential businesses were devastated by the pandemic. Over the past two 2 years we have been helping businesses across the world stay open while keeping their employees safe” said our CEO and Co-Founder Jikku Venkat “We are overjoyed to celebrate the World Day for Safety and Health at Work this year and applaud the International Labour organization for promoting awareness of employee health and safety at the workplace.

Our software has evolved greatly over the past two years, fueled by advice of medical experts and companies on the ground managing workplace safety programs. Today, they provide a full suite of HIPAA compliant vaccine tracking, testing, health screening, case management to ease the burden of managing COVID compliance off of HR.

Executives Are Embracing Digital Health Safety Tools

Since 2020, we have amassed over 150 customers and are protecting employees in more than 6 countries across the world. “I am amazed to see how quickly our company has grown over the past two years,” said Co-Founder and VP of Business Development Jason Story “Our customers come from a range of sectors. It’s heartwarming to see that we’re helping keep life-saving organizations such as healthcare to global businesses up and running.”

Why did companies turn to digital tools to manage COVID compliance? Brad Swenson, our Director of Customer Engineering has the answer “HR leaders were overwhelmed by the demands of COVID-19. The role of navigating COVID compliance fell into their hands and we saw a lot of burnout and frustration. Digital tools allowed them to manage COVID compliance, prevent outbreaks at scale, and eliminated the burden of tracking cumbersome spreadsheets.”

In addition to saving time, digital health safety tools make it easy for HR teams to manage complex reporting requirements. Many sectors such as healthcare are still subject to COVID-19 regulations from their state, local, and federal governments. With our platform, employers can easily adapt their engagement with employees as these guidelines change.

We recently hosted a webinar with Megan Adams, the VP of HR for a life-saving bone marrow transplant organization, Be The Match, operated by The National Marrow Donor Program. Their Human Resources team was able to bring 1,300 employees, guests and vendors safely back to the office with our platform.
